My First Thanksgiving

I have a few pictures that I would like to share of my very first married life cooking on Thanksgiving. I made everything!! It smelt so good and yet tasted even better. Although, I did have some help from my mom. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving as well.
P.S.- Sorry so late. With the move we just now got internet running!

New Beginnings... Our Home Sweet Home

We are very grateful and blessed that this opportunity came to us. As of December 10th Dustin and I are new home owners.  With so much excitement and so much stuff to move, I would like to say we are pretty much moved in. That is with all the help from family and friends!! Thank you so much it truly meant the world to us. As we still have little things here and there from both parents houses' but we are getting there. With Christmas right around the corner we had to get ready for that! Lol!! The tree is up and lights are on, with the stockings hanging from the fireplace ready to be filled. Christmas lights on the roof top waiting for Santa's arrival. Dustin and I couldn't be more happy with our life at the moment and are cherishing every minute of it. As for our baby girl Miss Annie she is loving being the only child. She is getting spoiled, by going to the pet spa this weekend to being able to sleep inside at night. We hope with these few pictures you can get a view of our house and our beautiful Christmas tree.

The Front of our house.

Part of the Kitchen! All ready for Christmas!

Yes, even with all the unpacking we did, we still had time to get the tree up!!

Merry Christmas!!!
Love,

First Post~ Recap of our life in the last year

Well here goes nothing...I've been watching friends and family start blogging, which has made me think I should start one too. I'm hoping it will help my family who lives far away  feel like they are apart of our every day life and some of our fun adventures we take.
With in the last year many things have happened and have changed our life. Two things that has happened were even life changing. For one my mom is now recovering from breast cancer and is staying strong. I think it didn't realize who it was messing with. Everyone that knows my mom knows it will take more than that to take her down. She has shown me through the whole thing that you are the only person who can break you down. Nothing in the world can change you unless you are wanted to change. Faith is a whole different story, as long as you have this you have the whole world in your hands. The other one was the day I married my best friend. I wouldn't change a single thing that happened that day. It was beyond perfect and better than any dream. We had family and friend surrounding us with love and fun! It was the best day of our life!!

Now in between those times little things went on. Dustin who is an amazing welder, lost his full time job about a year ago now. Although, we freaked out and was worried we wouldn't be able to get by. He has all proven us other wise, he has put himself out there to getting small jobs to some big jobs. The money isn't a constant pay but we haven't struggled yet. I'm just so proud of him for never giving up and following his dream of a job he loves to do. On another good note I got a job promotion this past summer and enjoying every minute of it. I am now a site assistance working with the after school children. People have been asking us already when the kids are going to start, my response is I have 120 children I enjoy very much. For now that is all I need.

So with that all to say we are two very blessed people and wouldn't change a thing. Have a great day.

P.S.- I am hoping to write a post at least once a week...maybe more we will see.
